About this design
Belfry in Tamil, for Christian weddings in Tamil Nadu: a church wedding card in warm, formal Tamil, from "புனித திருமணம்" to a line from 1 Corinthians 13.
It opens on an engraved bell in its arch. Tap "மணியை அடியுங்கள்": the bell swings and a printing-press roller prints the invitation onto the page. Inside are hand-tinted engravings of a whitewashed church among palms, the vows, the first dance and two rings, then the order of the day like a church programme, directions to the church, a countdown and RSVP.
