About this design
Mayur Vivah opens on a peacock with its tail closed, standing on a lotus against bandhani-dotted teal. One tap and the tail fans open feather by feather, fills the screen, and lifts away to show the invitation.
Inside, a Pichwai-style painting of the couple sits in a lotus-petal frame ringed with feather eyes. A note from the families rests on cream paper edged in rani pink bandhani, the countdown floats on lotus leaves, and each celebration is a feather of the fan: garba and sangeet night, the pheras, and the reception.
Peacock blue, midnight teal, emerald and rani pink, with an Indian instrumental track. It suits Gujarati and Rajasthani Hindu weddings, kankotri invitations, and any wedding with a garba or dandiya night. Garba and reception can be left out.
