About this design
Player Two in Kannada, for couples who would rather send a video game than a traditional lagna patrike. It is written the way young Kannadigas really talk about games: ಲೆವೆಲ್, ಪ್ಲೇಯರ್, ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್, ಸ್ಕೋರ್ and ಬೋನಸ್ stay as they are said, while the invitation itself stays warm and respectful (ಆದರದಿಂದ ಆಹ್ವಾನ) for the elders reading it. Guests arrive at a dark arcade title screen with both names as the logo and a blinking ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ ಒತ್ತಿ. One press and ಪ್ಲೇಯರ್ 2 ಎಂಟ್ರಿ! flashes across before the screen dissolves into the game.
Inside, each celebration is a level on a world map: ಸಂಗೀತ್, ಮದುವೆ as the ಬಾಸ್ ಲೆವೆಲ್ and ಆರತಕ್ಷತೆ as the ಬೋನಸ್ ಸ್ಟೇಜ್. The story sits in a role-playing text box, the countdown is the game clock, and replies are a name-entry screen with a ಸ್ಕೋರ್ಬೋರ್ಡ್.
