About this design
Chaar Laavan in Hindi, for Sikh families who send their wedding card in Devanagari: "वाहेगुरु जी की अपार कृपा से", the four laavan and the langar, in warm, formal Hindi.
It opens before dawn under a gold ੴ. One tap and the night lifts, rings spread across the sarovar and the names rise from their reflection. Inside are miniature paintings of the जागो night, the आनंद कारज with four gold arcs for the चार लावां, and the reception at dusk, then the gurdwara with directions, a countdown, RSVP and who is coming.
