About this design
For couples who want their wedding to feel like the best night a grand hotel ever had. Guests arrive in the lobby, facing a pair of brass lift doors engraved with a sunburst and the couple’s initials. One press of the call button sends the needle of the floor dial from G up to the star, a chime rings, and the doors slide apart.
Upstairs everything is symmetrical: the names in tall art-deco capitals under a stepped arch, a portrait in a brass arch, and four lift-indicator plaques counting down. The celebrations are an ivory cocktail-menu card, each one a course with its own tasting note. A framed notice gives the house rules and the dress code, the address comes with directions, and guests sign a registration card and see who has already checked in. It closes on Until the last dance.
Near-black lacquer, brushed gold, emerald and ivory, drawn entirely in fine lines, with vintage jazz. The sangeet, the reception and the dress code are optional.
