About this design
Our Scrapbook in Marathi, in the words two young Marathi people would actually scribble in their own album: the cover label reads लग्न विशेषांक like a magazine special, the sticky note starts with ता.क., they like each other "जाम", and the last page ends on क्रमशः the way a serial does. The lines elders read stay polite: the invitation is an आग्रहाची विनंती.
Guests arrive at a closed kraft album. Press आमची स्क्रॅपबुक उघडा and the band snaps off, the cover flips and loose photos slide out. Inside: both names in marker with a date stamp, the dates as ticket stubs with the लग्न circled in red, the story on notebook paper beside a photo-booth strip, a tear-off countdown, a doodled map, an उत्तराची चिठ्ठी and the page everyone signs.
