About this design
Pahadi Phere in Hindi: a pahadi wedding card for families of Uttarakhand and Himachal, and a destination wedding invite for couples marrying in Mussoorie, Shimla, Nainital or Manali, written in warm, simple Hindi that sounds like the family talking, from "पहाड़ों से आपके लिए न्योता आया है" to "बादलों के ऊपर मिलते हैं".
Dawn mist hides everything but the tips of the deodars; one tap and the sun comes up behind the snow peaks. A dotted trail then runs past roadside milestones: हल्दी-मेहंदी in the morning, फेरे at dusk as the peaks turn pink, अलाव और भोज at night. A wooden signpost carries the date, shubh muhurat, venue and dress code, a countdown sits on four snow peaks, and guests reply on a cream card under the stars.
