About this design
Sangeet Sitare in Gujarati: a sangeet sandhya invite written the way a young couple would send it to the family group, warm and a little cheeky, not like a formal kankotri. Guests are told "નાચવાનાં જૂતાં પહેરીને આવજો" and that the judges are "આમેય ઘરના જ".
The design is the same plum night under strings of amber bulbs and paper lanterns. One tap on the dhol, three beats, and the lights switch on. Inside, the evening is a playlist of tracks (મહેંદી, સંગીત સંધ્યા, જમણ અને ખુલ્લો ડાન્સ ફ્લોર with garba and raas), the date, time and place sit on an entry pass with a lantern countdown, and guests reply on the page and see who is already coming. Mehndi, dinner and dress code can be left out.
