About this design
Sehra in Urdu: a nikah card written the way Lucknow families write them, from "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم" and "اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل و کرم سے" to a dua for the couple, set right to left in Nastaliq.
It opens on a curtain of motia strands threaded with small roses, like a groom’s sehra. Tap, and the strands part from the middle to reveal an Awadhi courtyard at dusk. Inside, each panel of white muslin is sewn with a running stitch as it arrives: the نکاح and ولیمہ paintings in embroidery hoops, the date, time and place with directions, a countdown and RSVP.
اردو میں ڈیجیٹل دعوتِ نکاح: نکاح، ولیمہ، کاؤنٹ ڈاؤن اور RSVP کے ساتھ۔
