About this design
Haldi Mehfil in Gujarati: a pre-wedding party invite for the pithi (haldi), the mehndi and the sangeet sandhya, written the way Gujarati friends and cousins tease each other, not like a formal kankotri. Guests are greeted with "હાથ ઊંચા, નોતરું આવ્યું છે!" and told to come early and come hungry.
The design is the same bright cut-paper poster: a self-drawing mehndi palm, a yellow hero, one colour stage for each event, a paper-circle countdown, an RSVP ticket with a guest list and upbeat Indian instrumental music. The mehndi and sangeet can be left out.
