About this design
Haldi Mehfil in Hindi: a pre-wedding party invite that talks the way friends and cousins do, not like a formal card. Every line guests read is in easy, teasing, everyday Hindi, from "हाथ ऊपर, न्योता आया है!" on the opening palm to the RSVP ticket.
The design is the same bright cut-paper poster: a self-drawing mehndi palm, a yellow hero, one colour stage each for the haldi, the mehndi and the sangeet night, a paper-circle countdown, a guest list and upbeat Indian instrumental music. The mehndi and sangeet can be left out.
