About this design
Sangeet Sitare in Punjabi: a sangeet night invite in Gurmukhi that sounds like the family itself calling you over. "ਨੱਚਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ", gidda and bhangra on stage, and judges who are "ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਹੀ".
The design is the same plum night under strings of amber bulbs and paper lanterns. One tap on the dhol, three beats, and the lights switch on. Inside, the evening is a playlist of tracks (ਮਹਿੰਦੀ, ਸੰਗੀਤ, ਰੋਟੀ-ਪਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਡਾਂਸ ਫ਼ਲੋਰ), the date, time and place sit on an entry pass with a lantern countdown, and guests reply on the page and see who is already coming. Made for Punjabi Hindu weddings; mehndi, dinner and dress code can be left out.
